I don’t know if you remember or not, but during the run across
the USA (RunTellmanRun) I spent some time hanging out with
Erica Goldsmith – Miss West Virginia…
She actually ran barefoot with me, and is AMAZINGLY active
in local chairities.
She is one of the most caring and giving people I have ever met,
and her family even had my family (and Run Tellman Run crew)
come over to their house a few times for dinner while we were
stuck in cheap hotels, and eating crappy food in West Virginia…
They were a saving grace for us…
Now it’s time for us to help her out. Erica (miss WV 2010) is
competing for Miss USA and I need your help to help her win.

I’ve been studying the art of Comic Book writing a lot lately. I picked up 8 books on our about Stan Lee (the most prolific comic book writer of all time)… and have been learning how to write comic book stories to use in our marketing messages…
I got to thinking that Comic Books have been around for a very long time – And that Super-Heros make for great stories… So much that Comic Book after Comic Book are being turned into multi-million dollar movies time after time.

Hey – I know what you’re probably thinking right now, but the truth is that I do love you. Happy Valentine’s Day!
I am sitting in the airport right now waiting for my wonderful wife Jodi to come and pick me up… She’s running a few minutes behind schedule, so I figured now would be a good time to write to you…
The plane just landed and I am just returning from a fantastic meeting in Tempe Arizona, at Joe Polish’s Genius Mastermind group where I go every 3 months or so. It is always wonderful, but this time it was really, really great. I learned a lot about business, got together with several old friends, and something very unexpected happened…
I actually got to hang out for 2 days with the one and only Paula Abdul! It’s true. She was there learning about business and marketing with the best of us – and she absolutley one of the coolest celebrities I have met so far…
But the reason I wanted to sit down and write wasn’t to tell you about all the cool people I just met. The real reason is that I wanted to extend my heartfelt thanks to you.
Without you I would have nothing to work toward.
Without you I would have no reason to innovate.
Without you there would be no reason for my business to exist – and I spend all day, every day working on my business — doing my level best to help you to learn, grow… and if we both put in some hard work – to help you to make some more money along the way.
So thank you. And I Love You. I truly do – far more than words can express. In service to you my life has gotten far better than it was a few short years ago.

I’m married to an amazing woman – and I am able to do things that most people only fantasize about. But it’s all possible because of the internet – something that you, and I are both part of.

…at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah.
Actually, that’s not where we are sitting.
Right now, we’re sitting at Dick Clark’s AB Grill in the Salt Lake city airport…
But yesterday morning we were up at the Silver Baron– and it was *during* the Sundance film festival – but we were at the Thought Leader’s Summit 2010 -
And we were talking about Politics – and trying to figure out if building an email list of ‘followers’ is more like building a congregation if you were a Church – or more like building a political following within a country…
See, I was there with one of the smartest people in our company. And he was telling me about a speech he saw on TV of Obama. As he spoke about various issues, the Dow Jones Industrial Average stock market ticket-tape was running across the bottom of the screen…
And the numbers on that tape would vary wildly as his tone and the topic of what he was speaking about would change…,
He had immediate influence on the entire economy of our country simply by changing the tone of his voice…
That is influence. People listen to what he is saying, even if they disagree with it, or hate it.
Then we thought about Religion – and specifically we thought about Jesus…
